Branch Out Neurological is a Canadian charity on a mission to accelerate neuroscience research that translates into tangible brain health solutions. Driven by curiosity, it goes beyond pharma, investing in innovative, tech-based, and lifestyle-driven approaches that transform lives and redefine what’s possible. Branch Out's focus is neuroCAM (neuroscience + complementary and alternative modalities) — creative, outside-the-box solutions that often fall outside traditional research funding. Whether it’s trialling psychedelics for PTSD, virtual reality for ALS, wearable tech for MS, or mindfulness-based concussion therapies, it invests in research with real-world impact. Since its founding, Branch Out has funded 230 projects with over $2.5M invested in neuroCAM research across Canada, driving discoveries that improve the lives of those affected by neurological disorders such as MS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, concussion, stroke, autism, and more.
