Equine Assisted Leadership Training
If you can’t see where you’re at, how can you grow?
Are you looking for leadership development that challenges your comfort zone and gives you lived learning and not lectured learning? Does working with a highly intuitive, sensitive teacher who responds honestly and genuinely to a your ability to be present, communicate effectively and provide direction sound good to you?
This event will be right up your alley!
You’ll be guiding a horse (yes, a horse) through a series of exercises just using your presence and motivational skills. Horses are excellent teachers because they respond to you candidly, in the moment. We’ll start off easy, like taking the horse for a walk, but as you settle in, the exercises will become more revealing.
Imagine moving a 1,200 pound horse solely through the power of your influence. Truly seeing yourself through the horse’s responses offers profound insights that directly apply to your interactions with teammates, colleagues, and other people. Expect to increase your awareness for non-verbal communication; improve your active listening skills; negotiate solutions; and discover aspects of yourself you may not be aware of, but that influence how you are perceived by others.
No horseback riding is involved and previous horse knowledge is not necessary.
