Join Theatre Calgary's Resident Voice Coach, Jane MacFarlane, as she takes you and a group of Theatre Calgary supporters for an interactive accent workshop and Q&A session. Learn how actors develop vocal authenticity, explore dialects, and master nuances that bring characters vividly to life.
This hands-on workshop will have a particular focus on the details and mastery of the Newfoundland style accent of Theatre Calgary's upcoming production of Come From Away, running May 26-June 21.

Join a curated circle of Theatre Calgary supporters and A-List members for a private, interactive accent workshop led by resident vocal coach Jane MacFarlane.
Beginning with drinks, light bites, and conversation, guests will then be guided through the accents featured across Theatre Calgary’s 25/26 season. From the refined English tones of A Christmas Carol to the unmistakable warmth of present-day Newfoundland in Come From Away, participants will go on a linguistic journey together.
Equal parts behind-the-scenes insight and playful participation, this evening offers a rare opportunity to explore the craft behind the performances.
